Hirsch’s Carnival, Autodeal JMC and Lifeline Bear drive.

Hirsch’s Carnival and Autodeal JMC recently dropped off a large bundle of bears that were collected for Kids Haven in Benoni, just in time for Christmas! The initiative was backed by East Rand Stereo who urged their listeners to donate a bear and buy a pin - with great success.   “Kids haven have 94 children staying with them. These children come from the streets and Kids Haven in Benoni is their only lifeline.

Each of the bears had a pin on it from Lifeline that the public donated. We would like to thank the staff at Kids Haven for all the wonderful work they do and for all the fantastic people who donated bears and bought a pin to support Lifeline as well.”  Jenny Lee McDonald commented.    

VusI Ndlovu from Kids Haven expressed his appreciation on behalf of the Haven “Thank you so much everyone! We don’t have the opportunity to go on leave and if we can give something to the children for Christmas to make it better for them, that’s what makes us happy!!”      

Hirsch’s Carnival and Autodeal JMC will still be collecting bears and selling Lifeline pins for the various children’s home on East Rand. Your support is needed, not only during Christmas, but during the year as well.  Contact Jenny-lee on 010 822 2050.
