Helderberg Hospice Launches Win a Car Competition

Helderberg Hospice, the Palliative Care Specialists in Somerset West, and surrounds, together with Hyundai Somerset West, has launched a very exciting ‘Win-a-Car Competition’ that will see one lucky supporter of Helderberg Hospice drive away in a brand-new Hyundai Grand i10!
Their specialized palliative care is provided to people who have been diagnosed with a life limiting illness and their holistic approach focuses on quality of life for the patient and their loved ones. Palliative Care is provided primarily in patients homes and where necessary, patients are cared for in their 24hr intermediate care support centre for short term advanced care before being discharged back into their own homes.
To enter the competition, supporters need to purchase a ticket for R250 from the Helderberg Hospice website: https://helderberghospice.org.za/product/win-a-car-competition or from their charity shop in Main Street Somerset West or Fagan Street in the Strand. The competition runs until the 12 December 2022.
“We are very excited about the campaign, particularly because of the win-win element. By buying a ticket and supporting our cause, we get to continue providing specialized palliative care in our community and supporters stand a chance to win a brand-new car.” says CEO, Robert de Wet. “Funds raised from this competition go directly towards the costs of providing specialized palliative care, which cost us in excess of R7m last year.“
de Wet also thanked partners, Hyundai Somerset West, for their ongoing support and for coming on board with Helderberg Hospice to raise money for such a good cause. “It’s great that we have friends like Wolff Kreft at Hyundai in Somerset West who joins hands with us to add value in our community” adds de Wet.
The winner will be announced at the annual ‘Carols by Candlelight’ at the iconic Vergelegen Wine Estate on 14th December 2022.
