First Car Rental Leads South Africa's Youth to Success
Submitted by: NissinFirst Car Rental is proud to announce that four graduates of First Car Rental’s 2014/2015 Learnership Programme have been appointed as permanent employees of the company.
Sharon Gumede, Martha Fans, Lesego Mabuza and Grace Mokgosi were selected from the 34 students who graduated from First Car Rental’s Learnership Programme.
First Car Rental’s 12-month Learnership Programme is aimed at upskilling unemployed candidates from around Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal. The programme provides structured, outcomes-based workplace experience in participating First Car Rental branches and departments based in the catchment provinces.
Says Melissa Storey, First Car Rental's Executive Head of Strategy, Development & Marketing, “We are extremely pleased to have these young new recruits joining our passionate First Family and that our Learnership Programme has been a great success. As a company, we work towards supporting South Africa’s youth and giving them opportunities to learn and acquire skills that will assist them in achieving success in their careers.” she adds.
