Coastline Creative Productions working for the upliftment of theatre
Written by: Andre Daniels Save to Instapaper{pp}Coastline Creative Productions, an NPO awaiting registration, has the main goal to use theatre to uplift communities facing social issues in Cape Town.
Their current project, "Without a Kiss" exposes the reality of violence against women and children. "Our intention is to create discussion amongst school goers around women and child abuse and for them to ask fundamental questions about their futures today" says Andre Daniels, Public Relations Officer for CCP. The play focuses on a present day relationship that is destroyed as a result of past abuses. It encourages people to speak out sooner rather than when it's too late. "Unfortunately many adults today live unfruitfull and unfulfilled lives because they didn't have a chance to speak out when they were younger. We want to stop this cycle of abuse" says Andre Daniels. "Without A Kiss" is showing on 9 August 2007 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM at Milnerton Playhouse. Tickets are R40 FULL, R20 BLOCK and R20 STUDENTS Contact Details:Contact Sheila082 267 1061 for bookings Andre at 084 588 7285 for more information
