Pick n Pay Express teams up with ProActive™
Written by: Veruska D'Onofrio Save to InstapaperProActive™ has conceptualised and is implementing an attention-grabbing store opening campaign for the launch of each new Pick n Pay Express at BP Service Stations countrywide.
ProActive™ promoters, DJs, dancers and MCees are interacting with consumers and drawing attention to the new stores. As part of the celebrations, the first 100 customers that arrive on site receive a free cup of Wild Bean coffee and each customer that makes a purchase of R50 or more has the opportunity to Spin n Win. Giveaways include Top Gear DVD's, water bottles, branded mugs, branded shopper bags and mini multi-tool kits – all gifts that are perfectly suited to a service station environment. The entertaining activations aim to highlight the ease and convenience of Pick n Pay Express stores.
“The creative concept originated by the ProActive™ team is in line with the Pick n Pay Express look and feel; the activations are consumer friendly, appealing, exciting and fresh. The store openings aim to attract the attention of not only BP customers, but also fans of the Pick n Pay brand,” says Makhetsi Phakoa, Business Unit Head - ProActive™.
“With the changes in commuting patterns, consumers want to shop frequently in limited-offering stores that are convenient, well-located and easily accessible with longer trading hours. The Pick n Pay Express stores offer exactly that and via ProActive™’s activations we are ensuring that consumers are well aware that the stores are open for business,” concludes Phakoa.
