Global Brands Group Opens in South Africa

In February 2005, FIFA appointed GBG as both its worldwide exclusive licensing representative and store operator for FIFA branded retail destinations.Additionally, GBG has rights as the on-site concessionaire for all FIFA events throughout an eight-year term.

Bloom started his career in advertising where he worked at TBWA Hunt Lascaris in Johannesburg, JWT in London and Saatchi & Saatchi in Cape Town on international brands such as Nando's Chickenland, Boots the Chemists and Guinness. After attaining his Masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communications at Northwestern University in the United States, Bloom joining licensing agency The Beanstalk Group in New York where he developed and managed licensing programs for Harley-Davidson, Stanley Tools, Jim Beam and New York 2012 Olympic Bid.
