Looking for something  fun to do in Tokyo over the World Cup?, a New York online platform has taken Tokyo by storm.  Meetup offers a variety of opportunities for members to meet fellow members with similar interests; whether they're international parties, language & culture exchange, dinner parties, picnics, drink parties, day trips and everything in between.

The Tokyo Spontaneous Meetup group was founded in 2011 by Allon Hodes, who originally comes from South Africa, to build networking & friendship opportunities with fellow members from all backgrounds in dynamic Tokyo and has grown to be the biggest group in Asia with over 37,000 members. 

The group hosts daily events and with the Rugby World Cup being hosted in Japan Meetup Tokyo is hosting events for all the World Cup Rugby matches with a mix of social/drinks and language exchange events at super cool and popular venues throughout central Tokyo until the end of the World Cup.
