The 2025 season will test the steeliest of nerves in SA’s richest poker tour
The glamorous Sunbet Poker Tour takes place across South Africa in 2025 with the next leg at Sun City from 22 to 32 August 2025 with a R5.5 million guaranteed pot.
After that, it’s Boardwalk at the end of September, and the culmination at GrandWest in Cape Town from mid to end November. Last year, the 2024 season saw R70 million in prizes awarded around the country which is why the Sunbet Poker Tour is seen as South Africa’s richest.
Texas Hold’em is one of the most popular community card poker games and the most prevalent poker variant played in casinos worldwide. Backed by Sun International, Sunbet has partnered with the renowned MonsterJam Poker Tour to bring a new era of Texas Hold’em poker extravaganzas to our shores.
