Why the acquisition of a multi-disciplined Draughting qualification and certification is a giant leap in the pursuit of careers in CAD design industries?

The globalization of competitive markets, designs and technological capabilities, is now a master trend. As the effects of a sloppy global economy persistently filters into the property markets, the architectural draughtsman and technologists is struggling to find a firm footing, but the doors of industries are continually swinging wide open for multi-disciplined draughting qualifications.

This qualification imparts learners with skills in advanced CAD on up-to-date 2D, 3D and BIM draughting software enabling competency to the qualified learner thus creating more opportunities for employment that is in high demand .and making the qualified learner in demand and highly employable. The qualification embraces all the diverse disciplines of draughting such as Architecture, Mechanical, Structural, Surveying, Automotive Engineering Design, HVAC Design, Piping and Plant design, as well as Future Designs, to name a few.

Multi-Disciplined draughting is the most advantageous qualification, and certificate holders are highly sought after in the CAD design and technical drawings industry.

This qualification together with the international certification exams offered can be completed at CAD4ALL which will allow the learner to be employable globally. Designs are practical inputs of everyday decision-making. Professionally, design refers to the process of interacting and shaping the contents of an environment. A designer invents and explores, deploying the understanding of the relations between diverse forms of designing.

These entail considerations that border on aesthetics, utility, political and socioeconomic issues. A golden thread that runs into all design work originates from the fact that they all share a similar cultural conditioning at all times; all designs are inherently interlocked in one another. This necessitates a seamless curative experience as a designer transition from one sphere to another. Growth in a specific discipline improves upon the general designs nous.

The design process is borne out of research and knowledge, customized by the judgment and idiosyncrasy of the designer. This fact is deeply ingrained in the order of all the disciplines, a cornerstone in the exploration of multifarious fields. A distinctive trait of the typical designer is the tendency toward the application of solid positive and procedural knowledge. Positive knowledge consists of the vital elements and terminologies that the designer must acquaint with in order to solve problems in a discipline. Subject specific methods and skills, as well as the capacity for deciphering appropriate conditions for the application of a procedure, all count as procedural knowledge.

It is essential for designers to be able to competently conceive the integration of the basic elements into a complex web, which synthesizes the principles and models of specific disciplines into a functioning whole. It is a known as conceptual knowledge. The implication of this is a common language which makes for an ease of translation between disciplines.

The Multi-Disciplinary Draughting National Certificate ranks as the best and most widely accepted qualification for draughtsman in over 30 industries. It also lends all the per-requisites for any extended draughtsman study. It gives the learner an exposure to the fundamentals of draughting, and also to the draughting software tools peculiar to various disciplines such as Architecture, Mechanics and many more. The validity of this qualification is recognized both locally and internationally, galvanizing its employ-ability. Kabega Primary Wins Clean-up And Recycle Competition

Published: 24 January 2017

Kabega Primary School in Port Elizabeth has once again proven their mettle as a group of learners committed to sustainability and cleaning up their environment, by emerging victorious in Plastics|SA’s annual Clean-Up and Recycle Competition.

According to Jacques Lightfoot, Sustainability Manager at Plastics|SA, the aim of this yearly competition is to encourage schools, organisations and the public to involve their friends, family and communities in a clean-up or recycling activity.

“We required the entrants to supply us with a short report and photographs of their initiatives as part of our Clean-Up and Recycle SA Week activities,” Lightfoot said.

This event was sponsored by Plastics|SA’s Sustainability Council, Pioneer Plastics and Tufflex and offered exciting prizes, including cash prizes, a 6-seater picnic table and a 3-seater bench made from recycled plastics and a four-in-one recycling station. Entries for this year’s competition came from schools around South Africa.

“We judged the entries based on how many participants were involved in their respective projects and whether they managed to involve their community. Kabega Primary was a clear winner and stood out for us because of the amount of recycling and other environmental and sustainability work it does. It is an amazing school that is clearly dedicated to making a difference in their environment as they organized clean-ups in Baakens River Valley, Willows and Seaview,” Lightfoot said.

The school received as its prize an award certificate and a bench made of recycled plastic which was placed in the Grade 1 area of the school, in order to make the little ones aware of the school's green emphasis. Vaalpark Primary came second in the Primary School Category, and Louise Van Tonder was named the winner in the Organisation Category.

“We were once again unbelievably impressed with how industrious, creative and motivated the young people can be when it comes to bringing about real and lasting change in their environments.  We wish to extend our congratulations and compliments to every entrant on their exceptional effort and look forward to next year’s entries,” Lightfoot concluded.

Zinto assists with farewell for Daveyton learners

Published: 08 November 2016

Out of 153 pupils at Dinoto Technical Secondary School, 100 percent achieved entry to write final examinations. The principal of the school, Mr TJ White gave credit to the hard-working learners and Global Maths, an organisation specialising in assisting learners from disadvantaged communities from Daveyton.

The principal of the school recently posted a plea for sponsorship, requesting the assistance of local businesses and influential people from the community to help the school host a Grade 12 Farewell in celebration of these learners’ determination to succeed against all odds.

“Daveyton is a community characterised by hardship where the majority of learners often drop-out before the final year. Challenging life circumstances, such as teenage pregnancy, alcoholism, drug abuse and domestic and gender-based violence and gangsterism coupled with poverty are among the social hardships that these youngsters encounter daily. But the pupils of 2016 have shown that regardless these challenges, striving for greatness and work towards improving their living conditions and future prospects has untold benefits,” said Principal White.

He extended gratitude to the sponsors who supported and contributed to the success of the event, “If it were not for their generous assistance, donations and sponsorships, the ceremony would not have been possible. Our appreciation goes to Zinto Marketing Group and all the contributors who made the event possible.”

Zinto provided the platform: sound and staging on the day to create a truly memorable experience with a performance by the schools dance group for the Grade 12 pupils.

Comments Michelle Combrinck, founder and head of special projects at Zinto, “We wanted to offer our encouragement to these young learners, whom we know education is the tool to changing lives, and is a strong focus of our youth orientated business. Since inception, we have sourced first-time job seekers living in underprovided communities, to bridge the divide to gaining experience while looking for other work opportunities or to provide a springboard to establish their own business. We champion youth who want to become active job seekers and opportunity creators as youth unemployment remains a crisis.”
