Learner’s Licence testing website releases a Learner’s “cheat sheet” with site relaunch
Submitted by: Samantha @ RoganixGetYourLearners.co.za has brought out a “cheat sheet" intended to help its users with their Learner’s Test. What is this cheat sheet? An insidious method of helping people cheat? No. A helpful, quick reference guide to all the seemingly-random distances you need to know for your Learner’s? Yes.
Allow us to explain. The cheekily (or tongue-in-cheekily) named “cheat sheet” is a list of all the “numbers” learners need to know for their test. We’ve found that many of the South African Learner’s Test questions are fairly straight forward, but that people have trouble learning all the numbers (such as distances - no parking closer than 6m to a bridge; no parking within 9m of a pedestrian crossing etc). These number and distance-related rules are usually spread throughout Learners’ books, and it would be nice if all of those “arbitrary” numbers were compiled into a convenient list.
That’s where the “cheat sheet” comes in. The list, like popular Learner’s Books, is also broken down by category for convenience, but it leaves out anything not number or distance-related. While it’s important to know these number-related rules in their proper context, a quick reference sheet is immensely helpful, and saves the learners from having to hunt down and catalogue the information themselves.
The cheat sheet’s release comes just after our website relaunch: We (GetYourLearners.co.za) - formerly SaLearnersTests.co.za – recently revamped our website and online testing system. Our K53 Mock Test and Quickfire Road sign Quiz – both 100% free - consist of over 1,000 questions users can test themselves on. Users get instant feedback on their question answers, and can also view their K53 Mock Test score, broken down by category, to see which areas they need to improve on most. We also have revision material covering Rules of the Road, Road Signs, Vehicle controls and of course the infamous cheat sheet.
