It’s a wrap – The Pavilion Shopping Centre Supporting the community!

The #StrongerTogether community outreach initiative was a resounding success whereby over 2000 food parcels made up of perishables and non-perishables items were distributed to the Chesterville community.

Together with the guidance and support of local community leader Thamsanqa Mahlobo, who ensured that they were distributed to those in dire straits. The #StrongerTogether initiative was triggered not only by the spirit of “ubuntu”, but also as a gesture of goodwill to those who stood by the centre during the recent unrest!

Recipients included parents whose children attend the Christopher Nxumalo Primary School, the Ukukhanya Kwelanga Public Primary School as well as residents from the Chesterville extension.

All appreciated the Pavilion Shopping Centre’s generous donation!

The Pavilion Marketing team seen together with the remaining batch of parcels to hand out were Lisa Folkard; Julie-Anne Zuma; Avesh Udiajoo; Nicole Gounden.
