Celebrating World sleep day with Brakpan Primary!

Hirsch’s recently visited Brakpan Primary School to tell the children about how important sleep is to their mental and physical health. The Gade 4’s were chosen to participate in the competition which Rest Assured and Cloud Nine sponsors every year.

The purpose of the competition was to inform the learners why a good night sleep is so important.  While DUBA DUBA kept the children busy with the DUBA DUBA mascot. The grade 4’s were busy practicing and after a couple of practices. The moment of truth arrived.Mr Mo Samsoodeen, the school principle said “We have been working on a game plan the whole week. We were practicing every day and we hope all the hard work and effort the children have put in has paid off.”  The children got on the bed in record time and the countdown started. The children counted down the 30 seconds and the Grade 7’s walked around just to make sure that no-one got hurt or were stepping off. When the 30 seconds were up. The children jump in jubilation as Jenny-lee McDonald from Hirsch’s Brakpan and Mo Samsoodeen confirmed the final count. 60 Grade 4’s made it onto the bed.

The kids were all in green for St Patrics day and each had a pin to support Felicitas. A school for children with special needs. The proceeds of this pin goes to them.Every one received a DUBA DUBA pop and did the Duba Duba dance.

Winner will be announced shortly.
