Johannesburg, South Africa — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced that GX800, the world’s most powerful 18-inch gaming laptop, along with the G800, G752 and Strix GL502 gaming laptops are now available with the latest NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 10-series graphics cards. The VR-Ready NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series graphics cards provide exceptional performance and energy efficiency to give gamers incredible VR-gaming experiences. These graphics cards also feature NVIDIA G-SYNC™ technology [1] to reduce lag and stutter, and eliminate visual tearing to ensure the smoothest and fastest gaming visuals.    

ASUS currently ranks as the number one gaming laptop brand worldwide with a 40% market share, according to sales data [2] compiled by GfK Group, an independent research company. ASUS gaming laptops with NVIDIA GeForce GTX series graphics also topped the global sales charts for the second consecutive year. ROG GX800 – the world’s first 18-inch real 4K UHD gaming laptop

ROG GX800 is the world’s first 18-inch real 4K UHD gaming laptop to feature the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 in 2-Way SLI. It gives gamers desktop-like gaming performance, silky-smooth gameplay and detailed 4K UHD gaming environments. The liquid-cooled ROG GX800 features the ROG-exclusive Hydro Overclocking System that allows for extreme overclocking of the processor, graphics card and DRAM. ROG G752VS and G752VM – uncompromised visuals and performance

ROG G752VS features the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card that delivers up to 80% higher performance than previous-generation graphics cards [4], an unlocked 6th-generation Intel Core™ i7 ‘Skylake’ processor and up to 64GB DDR4 RAM. The unlocked processor has an overclocking toolkit, allowing users to overclock the system to speeds of up to 4.0GHz. ROG G752VS boasts a panel with a super-fast 120Hz refresh rate and wide 178° viewing angles for superb image quality and contrast even when viewed from extreme angles.

ROG Strix GL502VS and GL502VM – ready to game anytime, anywhere

ROG Strix GL502 is a compact and lightweight gaming laptop powered by the latest 6th-generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series graphics. The GL502VS model features NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics, while the GL502VM variant features NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics.   ROG Strix GL502 delivers efficient and powerful performance, and is ideal for heavy gaming or productive multitasking. It has a 15-inch panel with wide 178° viewing angles so there is no colour shift even when viewing the screen from extreme positions.
