A unique and world-class medical aesthetic and cosmetic institute opened its doors in January 2021 at Hyde Park Corner bringing the latest global treatments and technologies in aesthetics and anti-ageing to the Johannesburg.

The Specialist Laser and Cosmetic Institute (SCIN) @ Hyde Park will be operated entirely by specialist medical professionals and skilled aestheticians, with leading dermatologist Dr S'lindile Ndwalane at the helm. The clinic will offer highly professional and innovative aesthetic and minor cosmetic surgical procedures and medical management of aesthetic conditions, alongside everyday grooming treatments.

“Included in the list of procedures on offer at SCIN @ Hyde Park will be injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers, Silhouette Soft thread lifts, laser hair removal, laser vascular and pigmentation treatments and chemical peels, as well as anti-ageing facials and massage, and platelet rich plasma (‘vampire facial’) treatments,” explains Dr Sli, who holds a Masters degree in Dermatology with specialised training in Aesthetics Medicine.

“SCIN @ Hyde Park will also offer facial and body treatments, such as antioxidant facials, anti-free radical treatments, the latest anti-ageing and every day spa therapies, as well as intravenous vitamin drips – a specialised treatment that delivers essential vitamins and antioxidants directly into the bloodstream, for maximum absorption.”

This is the second Specialist Laser and Cosmetic Institute branch to open in South Africa, with the other based in Cape Town at Wembley Square.
