Support boobs in the bay

Cape Town’s vibrant Bay Harbour Market has joined forces with PinkDrive for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to bring clinical testing to the bay on Saturday 19 October 2019 - an initiative proudly sponsored by Strawberry Lips and Schweppes.

PinkDrive is an organization that believes early detection of breast cancer will help prolong life and encourages regular mammograms and self-examination. Steps on how to do a self-examination can be viewed at http://www.pinkdrive.co.za/breast-health-info/self-examinations/. On the 19 October 2019 from 10:00 until 13:30 PinkDrive will be at Bay Harbour Market to do free clinical breast examination and to educate men and women on how to conduct self-examinations.

Their nurses will perform a physical check for lumps or other changes in the breast. Signs and Symptoms of Breast Cancer include a lump in the breast or armpit, increase of size in one breast, swelling of glands in the armpit and orange peel appearance to the skin of breast and or nipple. If you notice any changes in your breast it is extremely important to consult a doctor. Come and participate in this courageous initiative that vows to have impact on the community, by sipping on a delicious Strawberry Lips or Schweppes mocktail. Your contribution will be donated to PinkDrive to support future testing rollout plans.
