GoCanada launched - immigration services for South Africans moving to Canada

The Intergate Group, South Africa's largest independent Immigration company, announced the launch of a new emigration company, GoCanada. The company will be only the second South African based Canadian Immigration company regulated by the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) offering immigration services prospective Canadian immigration applicants.

“South Africans have rated Canada as their most preferred immigration destination” said Managing Director Dianne Russell. According to SAOntario, over 2000 South Africans emigrated to Canada in the year 2010 to join the 300,000 already there.

Although there are a number of companies offering immigration advice to Canada many of these are not regulated and therefore afford their clients none of the protection of the Canadian Immigration regulator that GoCanada does. Other companies in the industry are based abroad and travel to South Africa to put on road shows but are unable to offer that locally based service.

“Canada is targeting immigration numbers of between 245, 000 – 260,000 for the year 2012” Ms Russell states. “Some 90,000 of these being skilled workers and South Africa offers a superb pool of potential candidates for both temporary and permanent residency”.

All assessments and subsequent applications are carried out by their regulated immigration consultant and the service is aimed at personalised individual counselling. GoCanada are also able to offer Intentional English Language Test (IELTS) coaching.

GoCanada have offices based in Cape Town and Johannesburg and will be conducting a number of roadshows throughout the year.
