Hansgrohe has revolutionised the bathroom

With a stunning array of spray-types and innovative shower options

When hansgrohe began production, way back in 1901, you can be assured that part of its mandate was to bring something new and unique to (what we would now call) an outdated ablutionary world. It is probably now safe to say that hansgrohe has fulfilled that directive and then some, with an impressive menu of shower options for your home.

A veritable myriad

Having garnered more than 550 design awards in its lifetime, hansgrohe has enough accolades to prove its worth on any podium in the world. But the German powerhouse still maintains that its spray lab is “dedicated to the pursuit of the perfect shower,” which is why innovation continues to thrive in this arena.

hansgrohe now sports enough options in its bathroom-ware to satisfy an almost unlimited number of combinations, catering for the perfect experience for any homeowner. From Talis to Logis to ShowerSelect, hansgrohe has something just for you.

EcoSmart and AirPower – the future

hansgrohe’s EcoSmart technology means that all products in the hansgrohe arsenal use 60% less water than conventional products. Lower water usage means less energy consumption, benefiting your bank account and the environment in one go!

AirPower is a truly decisive invention from the tap specialists. This technology enriches water with air so that each drop is plumper, more full-bodied and lighter. Aside from being an added indulgence in your bathroom experience, it makes your taps more efficient and makes your home more economical in its water usage.

Read the room

In their quest for global spigot domination, hansgrohe’s research elves found that there are three types of common ‘showerers’: Pleasure ‘showerers’ are out looking for a pampering experience that makes them feel like royalty. Efficient ‘showerers’ want their senses awoken (and sometimes pummelled) by an invigorating experience. Finally, focus ‘showerers’ are looking for a full back-and-neck massage whenever they crack open the glass doors!

Once the elves had passed this knowledge on, the team at the spray lab came up with some interesting solutions, addressing these needs.

Different jet types

Admittedly, this was an area that most probably thought had reached its zenith with the spigot tap. Fortunately for us, hansgrohe has refused to lay down arms, and offers jet types like RainAir, Rain and Whirl

RainAir is a relaxing shower, enriched with air inside the shower head. This gives the water a soft and plump feeling, enveloping your body in tender water globules and engendering a smooth sense of well-being. Much like a soft summer rain, this is an experience that transcends the functional.

Rain, like the name suggests, is a powerful rain jet that features an invigorating burst of freshness for the entire body. Ideal for rinsing out shampoo, this jet type is perfect for a stimulating start to the day! It also helps you recharge when you’re tired.

Whirl is a swirling massage spray that feels as good as it sounds. Helping you wash away your stress each day, this jet relieves tension in your neck and shoulders with a rotating helix nozzle. Treat yourself to a spa-like therapy without leaving the comfort of your home.

Of course, hansgrohe doesn’t stop there. Amidst its full range are jets like RainStream, CaresseAir, IntenseRain, Massage, Mono, TurboRain, Rainflow, Mix and SoftRain. For the shower connoisseur, variety is truly the spice of life – or at least the spice of sanitary fittings. These different showers will help you come to life in the morning, awakening your senses and keeping you fresh from head to toe.

Switching modes with a single push

hansgrohe has also introduced its easy-to-use ´select´ button feature to its new bath and shower ranges. While showering, a user can select the spray they want by simply tapping the easy-to-read paddle – like a light switch. The water temperature and volume are controlled by dials too. All in all, the simple controls make it possible to enjoy a perfectly relaxing and extremely unique shower experience without the hassle of overly complicated technology.

Can’t go wrong The simple fact at the end of the day is this: hansgrohe is committed to giving you a pleasurable bathroom experience.
