KZN Women in Action is the brainchild of Dr Makhozi Khoza. The organisation is apolitical, areligious and completely diverse. The mission of the organisation is to get women in KZN to band together to build safer, just, ethical, sustainable and prosperous communities.
The organization launches its agenda at a High Tea at The Pencil Club in Umhlanga on 11 September 2021. Nellie Ngcongo James, a lecturer and academic will deliver the keynote address.
Dr Makhozi Khoza will kick off the program, bringing an overview of what women activists have achieved in the past and the impact that they created, with the hope that this reminder will be a catalyst to the women attending.
Anashaya Jugmohun, an Associate from Pather and Pather attorneys, is talking about Taking Responsibility for Yourself. The program will be directed by Lisa Sukdev.
Dynamic ladies coming together, to not just start a narrative but to take significant action, augers well for KZN. The event is sold out, however anyone wanting to participate in the initiatives driven by KZM Women in Action or wanting to become a member can contact Nellie Ngcongo James, the current President on 0766579597.
