MAQ assists areas afflicted by Water Shortage

Submitted by: MyPressportal Team

As the water crisis in the country worsens, many households have been left without water. To assist people in afflicted areas, MAQ Washing Powder has stepped in to help. By bringing buckets of fresh water to households in various parts of the Free State and North West Province, the energetic MAQ Roadshow Team is helping numerous people.

“With many households left without water, we wanted to step in and do our bit to help those in need. The water shortage problem means that some areas can go for weeks without water. Water is essential to everything – to life, to cooking and to washing – and it is up to us, and other companies, to help,” says Jacqueline Jacobs, Sales and Marketing Director: MAQ Washing Powder.

MAQ as a company and as a brand is extremely community focused and always strives to give back to consumers. “MAQ Washing Powder as well as the other products in the stable are where they are today because of loyal consumers. The MAQ brand is successful because of fans. We believe that a successful relationship with consumers is one where both parties receive. In light of this, we are committed to giving back to individuals and their communities,” continues Jacobs.

The MAQ Roadshow Team is delivering over a thousand litres of water to communities in North West Province and the Free State. The communities have welcomed the water-filled buckets with open arms and open hearts and are extremely grateful.

A resident of Gasaebusho in the North West expressed her gratitude: “The people love MAQ and some are emotional about the water. Gasaebusho can go for two to three weeks without water. We thank you MAQ for bringing water to us!”
