The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre Hosts Cheetah Conservation Training Programme for November 2011
Written by: The P.R Team Save to InstapaperThe Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC) welcomes guests to get involved in a hands-on approach to conservation and wildlife educational programmes through the Centre’s ‘Cheetah Conservation Training Programme’ which runs from Tuesday 8, November until Monday 28, November 2011. The programme invites participants of all ages, but children younger than 18 years old need to be accompanied by an adult.
Cost, R14, 400.00 for RSA residents and for non-RSA residents R18,000.00. Students will have the opportunity to be involved in the preparation of animal food and feeding, the possibility of working with the wildlife vet (darting, capturing and operating on animals), assisting in the hand-rearing of animals as well as local community involvement by visiting schools in rural areas.
