ContinuumWarp – vol 1 – 2015

ContinuumWarp 2015 – is the first volume in this enchanting journey through the gateway of the Continuum.

ContinuumWarp is an Electronic Dance Music dance festival split over 4 stages, showcases various genres of Dance music, played by some of South Africa’s top DJ’s.

The festival will take place from the 11 to 13 December 2015, at Hennops Pride, just outside Centurion, Gauteng. The venue was chosen for its natural beauty and open spaces. With the Hennops river running through it, and rugged mountains, it gives ContinuumWarp and setting like no other festival.

Main stage will showcase the best DJ’s South Africa has to offer. One of the big differences between a music concert and a dance festival is that at a concert all the lights are on the band, here all the lighting is around the set and on the audience. The massive main stage set is over 5 stories high and around 60 meters wide. With insane lighting, sound and Audio Visual production, with added Pyrotechnics (Fireworks).

The House Stage will focus more on the local styles of EDM music, with TOP DJ’s playing everything from Deep House, to Electro, and the 2 smaller stages showcasing, Retro Rave, Trance, DubStep, Drum and Bass and Hardstyle.

Cashless transactions: All the bars, food stalls, shops and other activities will only accept WarpZone tokens, there is no need to carry cash around. These tokens can be purchased in advance from the ticketing website or from specific points at the festival.

The grounds in general will have décor to create specific zones for chilling, eating, or just having fun. With activities other than the music and food, such as a Full relaxing SPA for that special treatment, or Zip Lining to add some adrenalin to your experience. All the activities can be paid for by tokens.

Food - To ensure an overall incredible experience we will have a variety of foods, ranging from your normal, boerewors rolls and chips, through to a full 5 star restaurant dining experience overlooking the main stage (booking will be essential).

Ablutions, will be maintained on a regular and continuous basis, there will also be refreshing points throughout the grounds to wash your hands or just freshen up.

WarpTown Camping: For those of you coming for the full weekend camping experience, you will have access to WarpTown which will the provide braai areas, shower facilities and the TownSquare for all your shopping needs.

There will be a variety of camping options, starting with bring your own tent, WarpDomes which are pre-erected tents (yours to keep) with inflatable mattresses, sleeping bags and camping chairs. Moving up to Captain’s Quarters which are large dome tents with a sitting area, beds and a power point for charging phones etc.

The line-up includes many of South Africa’s top DJ’s – Protoculture, Das Kapital, Headroom, DeanFUEL, Lady Lea and many others.
