Sunnyside Residence will be hosting its annual Charity Auction on Thursday 12th of April 2012
Written by: Lorraine Save to InstapaperWhat the event entails is auctioning off 10 gorgeous ladies and gentlemen, with ages ranging from 18-25 years of age. Each contestant is given the opportunity to get bid on by the audience, and the highest bid gets to take the contestant on a special date, which is sponsored for by the residence itself.
The auction will begin at 18H30 and end at 21H00, taking place in the Sunnyside Residence Garden. The main entrance to the University of the Witwatersrand is situated on Empire Road, (Main Campus, Braamfontein)
The aim of the auction is to raise money for charity, by creating a fun environment and atmosphere at the same time. Over the years, The Sunnyside Auction has received increasing momentum and support, and this year we hope that the event is even bigger and better than the last.
Tickets for the event are on sale at R20 (presale), and R30 at the door (however limited tickets available). The hope is to get as many people at the event as possible who are willing to bid on our contestants so that we make the event a big success.
